Description
A jubilant, moustached gentleman in yellow bowtie runs over a Champagne bottle as it sprays into a raised flute, set against a saturated red ground beneath huge BILLECART lettering. The slogan reads “le Champagne qui franchit les siècles” (“the Champagne that spans the centuries”).
The design by Hervé Morvan was originally printed in 1959 by Le Réveil de la Marne (Épernay). This one is from an authorised reprint in 1991 and includes the mandatory French health warning “L’abus d’alcool est dangereux…”
Commercial offset on glossy, heavy paper stock; strong graphic impact in the standard 40 × 60 cm display format.
