Description
A mid-century Dubonnet advertising panel featuring a photographic still-life: a large bottle on a wicker tray with two glasses, green olives and a vase of anemones, above the slogan “DUBONNET la Marque, la Qualité!”
Dubonnet, the quinquina wine aperitif founded in 1846, relied heavily on bold point-of-sale material for cafés and grocers; the quality-assurance strapline is consistent with post-war French brand advertising.
The piece appears to be printed on thin metal with crimped corners; a small top hole indicates it was hung in-store.
