Description

A large printer’s sample sheet headed “GLASGOW J. & J. MURDOCH LTD. & LONDON”, presenting dozens of colourful oval bottle-label designs for soft drinks and tonics, including Iron Brew, Brown Robin, Devonshire Cider, Dandelion & Burdock, and multiple citrus “Crush” flavours. Two central panels list “ASSORTED from ‘D’ SERIES” and “ASSORTED from ‘F’ SERIES”, indicating trade ordering ranges.

J. & J. Murdoch were prominent Scottish printers and show-card specialists supplying the drinks trade; sheets like this were typically carried by travelling reps to demonstrate available label series.
