Description
A bold circular “roundel” for Rhondda Valley Breweries, centred on a sheaf trade-mark and the words “Celebrated Ales” in cream lettering over deep navy and red. The design mimics a bottle label, intended as point-of-sale display in pubs and off-licences.
Rhondda Valley Breweries traded in South Wales and used strong, easily legible branding for bar visibility during the inter-war period, when brewery identity was a key differentiator at the point of service.
Commercial lithographic showcard production with printer credit for Grant & United, Turnmill Street, London. Linen backing improves stability; minor edge/bottom damage and associated restoration remain visible.
