Description

A large bottle of Kranebet floats before a pale Alpine peak while two smiling holidaymakers gaze upward from the misty foreground. The red script “liquore” means “liqueur,” and the oversized black product name gives the sheet strong shop-display impact.

Made for Fratelli Rossi Distillatori of Asiago, Kranebet is a juniper-based spirit associated with Alpine botanicals. The printed Questura authorisation is dated 17.12.45

Soft airbrushed colour, a carefully modelled bottle and bold sans-serif lettering give the design a distinctly post-war commercial character. The poster is generally catalogued as an original colour offset/lithographic print by Studio Crof Padova, produced by Arti Grafiche Votta, Desenzano.
