Description

A French wall poster mapping the “Crus du Cognac” (Cognac growth areas), colour-coded with a legend for Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois and Bois Ordinaires. At left, a rendered bottle label reads BRUGEROLLE with “Cognac Léopold Brugerolle,” while a roundel at lower right shows a church silhouette captioned “Matha près Cognac” (“Matha near Cognac”).

Issued as trade/educational advertising to explain terroir hierarchy to merchants and customers, typical of interwar French drinks promotion.

Commercial lithographic/offset work credited “Max Sidaine – Bordeaux,” mounted on metal hanging strips for display.
